What type of prom dress should I get?
I have a larger form of an hour glass figure. I’m 5′5″ and about 140 lbs and have a DD bust. I have larger arms and a bit of a stomach, I also have no butt. My mom wants me to have a long dress and I can’t have anything that I would be falling out of. The only thing I am against are puffy ball gowns. I really love old fashioned things but I have had a hard time finding anything that would look good on me. Any suggestions?
It sounds like you are more of an apple shape than an hourglass. Not that there is anything wrong with that. The best shape for you would probably be a dress with more fullness on the bottom, to balance out the top half. It doesn’t have to be puffy. It can be a more basic A-line, or something else.
